The Holiday Concert is coming up on December 17, 7:00-8:30 pm, so be sure to get your ticket soon! All proceeds go to local charities through the SVP Teens community grant, and it will feature a wide variety of talented local bands and artists from all different genres that you don't want to miss:

Caleb Khuu

Caleb Khuu is a versatile working guitarist. As a member of the KW Big Band Theory, Jazz FM Youth Big Band, and through freelance work he has had the opportunity to perform to audiences reaching 1200+ in venues across Ontario such as Koerner Hall, Hugh’s Room, The Great Hall, and TD Niagara Jazz Festival. He also teaches guitar and theory.

Sunny Ticknor-Malton

Sunny is a KW performer whose roots and heart lie in musicals and theatre. They work with older adults as the head of recreation in a retirement village, but always try to find ways to bring the arts into the lives of residents. Sunny started writing music as a way of better communicating with themself, but now they play for others as a form of storytelling, to create connection and understanding with people and emotion.

K-Crew

K-Crew is a K-pop dance team based in Kitchener, Ontario. Established in 2017, the group consists of 20+ dancers who learn and practice K-pop choreographies, and perform at various events in the community. In previous years, K-Crew has performed at several schools including Cameron Heights CI, Glenview Park SS, Resurrection CSS, and Bluevale CI.

Megan Pickett

Megan is super excited to be performing in the SVP Teens Holiday Concert! She has been playing guitar for 6 years and singing for fun since she could talk. Outside of music, she plays hockey and reads a lot. She has done a couple of coffeehouse performances, but this is her first time performing for an audience outside of school!

Vincent Chen

Vincent Chen is a student participating at Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute. Born in 2005, he enjoys film and music and began playing the violin in early 2010. He will be performing “Salut D'Amour” composed by Edward Elgar.

Kym Burchell and Nicole Shaughnessey

With influences from rock, grunge, pop, and country, Kym and Nicole add their own silky smooth vocal stamp onto wildly popular (and sometimes obscure) hits from the 50s to the 00s.

Joni NehRita

Joni NehRita is Jamaican-Canadian artist who writes songs about unity, hope and social justice. Her jazz-tinged brand of soul is infused with rhythms & sounds from her Afro-Caribbean background. NehRita is a seasoned performer known for her ability to touch an audience and leave them feeling changed.

Can't wait to see you there!
